OnAxle's mobile app is not a companion viewer. Operations and money movement run on the phone — trip intake from a photographed Lorry Receipt, POD at the doorstep, fuel logged against the trip, invoices from draft to posted. Analysis stays at the desk, deliberately.
One app, shaped by permissions
There is no separate driver app, finance app, or workshop app. A single app reads the signed-in user's authorities and shows only the modules they can act on — so a driver sees assigned work, and an accounts lead sees the billing chain, from the same install.
A trip can start with a photograph
Four distinct intake paths, two of them AI-assisted: generate a fresh Lorry Receipt, start against an external LR you already hold, photograph a physical LR to prefill and start, or upload a tax invoice or e-way bill to prepare a new LR. Every extracted field is reviewed before the trip exists.
The billing chain, on a phone
Invoices move through their real lifecycle from the field — draft, submitted, approved, posted, emailed, and amended when they must be. Receipts are allocated across the invoices they cover, with TDS, deductions, and outstanding all visible on the record.
Drivers
Assigned trips, start and delivery updates, breakdown reports, and proof of delivery captured at the doorstep.
Operations
Trip intake from a photographed LR, status through the journey, route and rate-card lookups, and document upload.
Accounts
Trip settlement, invoice generation, the approve-and-post chain, receipts, credit notes, and vendor payments.
Workshop
Job cards, service items, parts consumption, purchase orders, and goods receipts from the floor.
Mechanics
Assigned work orders, parts requests, labour and expenses recorded against the job card.
Fleet
Vehicle records, fuel logs, compliance dates, assignments, and the daily loading plan.
What stays at the desk — on purpose
Analytics, the reports catalog, and the books are not on the phone. They are dense, comparative, export-driven work that reads badly on a small screen and is done sitting down. Keeping them out of the app is a design decision, not a gap.
